DESCRIPTION:Tough Topanga has been sending runners up this mountain since the 1970s\, and it hasn’t gotten any easier. The classic 10k climbs 1\,198 feet through oak forests and chaparral to Hub Junction before a fast descent back to Trippet Ranch — with a timed Downhill Mile that pays $250 to the fastest female and male splits. New for 2026\, the 15k Garapito course adds 4 miles of singletrack through the canyon before rejoining the 10k route\, with a $500 winner-take-all prize purse. A 1k kids race and a non-timed Hiker’s Delight option round out the morning. Both courses are fully supported with aid stations\, post-race tacos\, and a beer garden. \nRegister at UltraSignup.
