Big Bear Tough Mudder 2026

The Big Bear Tough Mudder brings obstacle course racing to Bear Mountain at 8,200 feet elevation in the San Bernardino Mountains, with 5k (12+ obstacles) and 10k (20+ obstacles) distances on the mountain’s rugged terrain. Named obstacles include Block Ness Monster, Funky Monkey, and Devil’s Beard — all with the altitude working against you. There’s no competition and no timing; it’s a team-oriented event focused on getting through the course together. Finishers earn a medal, shirt, and the iconic orange headband, plus a beer or seltzer at the finish. A Mudder Village with spectator access and live entertainment runs alongside the event.
