Hybrid Wilderness First Responder Course – Anza-Borrego
February 18 @ 8:00 am - February 22 @ 5:00 pm

The Anza-Borrego Foundation, in partnership with NOLS, is offering a Hybrid Wilderness First Responder (WFR) course in Borrego Springs.
The course is intended for individuals who work or recreate in remote environments where access to medical care may be delayed. The hybrid format includes three online modules, each requiring approximately 10 to 15 hours to complete, followed by five days of in-person instruction focused on skills practice and field scenarios. Upon completion, participants are trained to conduct patient assessments, provide emergency care in wilderness settings, and make evacuation decisions.
