SoCalTrail: Tough Mugu 2026

The Tough Mugu runs the PCH-side trails of Point Mugu State Park in the heart of summer, climbing from sea level up the Ray Miller Trail to coastal mountain fire roads and chaparral singletrack before looping back around Mugu Peak with views of the Channel Islands. The 25k covers 15.75 miles with 2,427 feet of gain; the 10k turns around at the Ray Miller Trail midpoint. Both courses are fully supported with aid stations, chip timing, post-race tacos, and a beer garden. The 25k overall winners take home a $500 cash prize.
