Joolca HOTTAP Nomad Kit Offers All-in-One Camping Hotwater Option

One of the things I’ve come to appreciate while spending time off-grid is how much of a difference hot water can make—whether it’s for cleaning dishes or enjoying a proper shower. It really elevates the experience, so I’m always on the lookout for new gear that makes this easier.
Joolca’s latest offering, the HOTTAP V2 Nomad Kit, is one of those products. The kit includes a water heater, pump, hoses, and a multi-setting showerhead, among other components.
It runs on propane and is designed to provide hot water almost instantaneously, with the option to draw water from a range of sources, such as rivers, lakes, or jerry cans. At under 11 pounds, the Hottap unit is lightweight and portable, potentially making it a convenient solution for overlanders or those living off-grid.

According to Joolca, ease of setup and use is a significant feature, though users may need to be mindful of proper gas and battery management to ensure smooth operation. Priced at $549, the HOTTAP V2 Nomad Kit is a significant investment but could be a good option for those seeking an efficient and portable hot water system.
Joolca also offers the GottaGo Toilet, which I’ve written about before, a portable unit designed with hygiene and convenience in mind. Weighing just over 6 pounds, it utilizes a waste bag system to contain waste and minimize odors. This could be a practical option for those who prioritize hygiene while traveling or camping.
