Memorial Day weekend kicks off the unofficial start of summer, and the gear sales that come with it are among the best of the year, better in some categories than the late-fall markdowns, especially on tents, sleeping pads, and bikes that retailers want to move before the next model year lands. Below are the sales we think are worth a look, plus a few specific products in each one.
REI Anniversary Sale — Up to 40% Off

Trekmates Air Lite Sleeping Pad
The Trekmates Air Lite is an inflatable sleeping pad aimed at the entry-level backpacking and car-camping market. It packs down small, weighs in at the lighter end of budget pads, and is sold as a general-purpose three-season option.
Jetboil MiniMo Cooking System
The Jetboil MiniMo is an integrated canister stove system with a one-liter cooking cup, a regulated burner that Jetboil rates for cold-weather and high-altitude performance, and a precision-simmer control valve. The shorter, wider pot shape is meant to make cooking and eating directly out of the cup easier than Jetboil’s taller models.

The Devinci Troy Carbon 29 GX 12s is a 140/150mm-travel trail bike built on Devinci’s Split Pivot suspension platform and a carbon DMC-G frame. The build pairs a Fox suspension package with a SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain, SRAM Code brakes, and Maxxis tires. A flip chip at the shock mount allows two geometry settings. Devinci markets it as a do-it-all trail/all-mountain bike.
Santa Cruz Nomad 6 C S
The Santa Cruz Nomad 6 C S is a 170mm-rear-travel enduro/park bike on Santa Cruz’s sixth-generation Nomad platform. The build runs a mixed wheel setup (29-inch front, 27.5-inch rear), a Fox 38 fork, a RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ shock, and a SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain.
