Sequoia National Forest Camping Guide
Sequoia National Forest, in Southern California, offers numerous developed and primitive campgrounds. Below is a list of campgrounds with links to information on each.

Hume Lake Ranger District Campgrounds
Hume Lake Ranger District is the most northern portion of the Giant Sequoia National Monument and it is neighbors to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks.
This 195,606-acre district has elevations ranging from about 1,000 feet, along the Kings River to 11,000 feet, the peak of Mt Harrington, and home to 13 Sequoia Groves and the majestic Kings Canyon.
The district also includes two wilderness areas, 18 developed campgrounds (including four groups sites), two rental cabins, developed day-use areas, 113 miles of trails, 150 miles of off-highway-vehicle trails, 25 groomed snow trails, and much more.

Western Divide Ranger District Campgrounds
The 319,491-acre Western Divide Ranger District is located centrally in Sequoia National Forest and adjacent to the Kern River district (see below). It encompasses the southern portion of the Giant Sequoia National Monument. Highlights of the district include the Trail of 100 Giants, the scenic view from the top of Dome Rock, and backcountry hiking into the Golden Trout Wilderness.
The district offers nine developed campgrounds (including groups sites), rental cabins, developed day-use areas, 296 miles of trails, 338 miles of off-highway vehicle routes that offer miles of winter-time ski or snowmobile routes, and much more.

Kern River Ranger District Campgrounds
The Kern River Ranger District covers 663,000 acres in the most southern portion of Sequoia National Forest and offers 25 campgrounds and 10 developed day-use areas. Over 578 miles of trails, including 68 miles through designated wilderness, span across forested mountains, high desert, and along rivers.
