Campground Overview
Thornhill Broome Campground provides a unique coastal camping experience with campsites directly on the sandy shore, offering stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.
This makes it an ideal destination for those looking to combine a love for camping with activities like surfing, beachcombing, and sunbathing. The campground is equipped with essential amenities such as showers (token-operated, requiring dollar bills), fire rings for campfires when fire levels permit, and picnic tables.
Campers should be aware of the firewood policy: burning firewood, Duraflame logs, and charcoal briquettes is allowed only when fire levels permit. The fire level for the day is posted near the entrance, so it’s essential to check it upon arrival. The campground does not provide change for larger bills, so campers should come prepared with small bills for shower tokens.
