How to Get to Heber Dunes SVRA Trailhead
To reach Heber Dunes SVRA trailhead, start from the nearest major road, Highway 7. If you’re coming from the Calexico/Mexicali area, take Highway 7 north for approximately three miles from the Mexican border crossing. The trailhead is located at 1610 E. Heber Road in Holtville, CA 92250.
From Los Angeles or the Inland Empire region, take Interstate 8 east towards El Centro. Merge onto Highway 7 north and continue for three miles past the border crossing. Look for signs directing you to Heber Dunes SVRA on your left. There is a parking area available at the entrance of the recreation area.
